After graduation Greg served as a novice on a house framing crew and after a few years ventured out and started Monteforte Construction. Greg owned and operated his general contracting business for 11 years, and in 1996 offered his experience to Wilmington Builders Supply. Greg was a perfect fit. His direct knowledge of the construction process coupled with the intricate astuteness of building homes was an asset. Adapting to the supply side of the business was an easy task for the veteran Greg. Greg’s first hand knowledge of missing orders, late deliveries, and bad service while running Monteforte Construction has kindled his mission to treat the customers well, like it were his own project. Honest advice and information is the cornerstone of Greg’s principles. Greg has been married to his wife Lisa for 14 years. Together they have three children, Nicholas, Christopher, and Emily. Greg spends much of his free time as a Den leader and Assistant Cub Master for the Boy Scouts of America. He is also the Chairman of the board of trustees for Wilmington United Methodist Church. If any free time is left after his dedication to such activities Greg enjoys camping and following the plight of the Boston Bruins.
